JOB DESCRIPTION
- Record and keep track of accounts receivables, accounts payables, company/branch sales, and company expenses
- Prepare a summary of collections for all major dealers and follow-up payments
- Responsible for the accurate and timely recording of all accounting transactions in the books of accounts of the company.
- Responsible for encoding, creating, and updating sales and expenses reports (detailed and summary reports) and assisting in the preparation of PNL reports
- Compute/double-check lease rental payments and coordinate with the Operations department and Mall Administration regarding computations and due dates
- Prepare and release check payments for various payables and filing of check vouchers
- Check and record Revolving Fund / Petty Cash Reimbursement and Employee Cash Advance Liquidation
- Prepare BIR form 2307 for lessors subjected to withholding tax and send EWT to lessors
- Assist in the processing of government benefits (sickness, maternity, loans, etc.)
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and files BIR reports per company
- Provide information to the external accountant who creates the company’s financial statements
- Comply with all government reporting requirements
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested
- Act as liaison for LGU, SEC, BIR, SSS, Philhealth, and Pagibig-related matters;
- Follow accounting policies and procedures
JOB QUALIFICATION
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Required Skill(s): Bookkeeping, Quick Books, Statutory Compliance Microsoft Excel, MS Word
- Preferably at least 2 years of experience specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
- Knowledgeable in filing BIR-related reports, including preparation of remittances for government-mandated benefits
- Must possess the ability to maintain clear and accurate financial records
- Organized and methodical approach to working
- Knowledgeable in a monthly and quarterly government filing
- Detail-oriented and analytical
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and can handle work pressure
- with an initiative to meet deadlines and with high integrity
- Willing to work at Quezon City
