JOB DESCRIPTION
Service Advisor is primarily responsible in the estimation cost analysis of automotive repairs and routine maintenance. Through effective communication with customers, the SA determines the services necessary, predicts the time needed for completion and stays in constant communication with the customer during the repair process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible in effective handling of customer complaints on services through extensive investigation
- Courteously greet customers and determine nature of customer’s request
- Explain company policies, procedures, products, services, and other related matters to service
- Answers promptly variety of questions related to car repairs and servicing
- Explain labor and parts estimates
- Explain to clients their automotive problems and the repairs done on their vehicles
- Track progress on customers’ vehicles, and keep customers apprised
- Direct customers to cashier, and assist with cashier duties as needed
- Prepare repair orders and customer bill, ensuring that final charges correlate to quotes
- Maintain all required logs and records of service department activities
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
JOB QUALIFICATION
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of any Vocational Automotive Courses
- Preferably with Auto dealership experience
- With proven experience as auto mechanic
- With excellent knowledge and understanding of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
- High level of attention to detail
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Good judgment and interpersonal Skills
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
