OVERALL PURPOSE
To ensure timely processing and delivery of financial and accounting activities to stakeholders, pertaining to month end close cycle, reconciliation schedules, financial and management reporting and general accounting tasks through coordination with various business leads
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintenance and updating of the books of accounts, subsidiary records, and other accounting and financial records, both for management and statutory reporting
• Clean and smooth closing of books and ledgers at each month, quarter and yearend. Following company policy, process and procedure in closing
• Transactions and business events are recorded in accordance with IFRS
• Provide operations report to line of business managers
•Implement relevant Internal Controls and ensure strict adherence to the said controls
• Other tasks that may be assigned
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy• Highly motivated, structured and quality driven individual who in parallel possesses strong initiative, excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates Team collaboration and Team spirit
• Good command in English – oral and written skills
EXPERIENCE
• 2- 3 years experience in general accounting
• Must have handled full set of books
• Knowledgeable in month end close activities
• Experience in account reconciliations and financial analysis
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Comfortable in liaising with various nationalities / diverse environment
