JOB DESCRIPTION
- Receive and validate purchase requisition from departments and business units
- Source and maintain reliable suppliers of materials and services needed
- Prepare and send the approved purchase order to suppliers
- Follow up with suppliers for faster turnaround of quotation and sample request
- Keep track of scheduled deliveries and constantly update the department on the status of requests
- Update and maintain the records of all orders, payments, and suppliers in the database
- Perform other job-related functions that may be assigned from time to time
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Graduate of Business Administration or any relevant field
- At least 1 year of proven experience as Purchasing Officer
- Good knowledge of supplier sourcing practices
- Solid analytical and negotiation skills
