Payroll Officer

A Payroll Officer, ensures employees of a company are paid the right amount on time. Their duties include auditing and verifying timekeeping records, managing deductions and overtime and ensuring salary payments comply with local laws.

Responsibilities:

• Collect daily, weekly or monthly timesheets
• Calculate bonuses and allowances
• Prepare employees’ compensation by the end of each month
• Schedule bank payments or hand out paychecks directly to employees
• Distribute payment statements and gather signed receipts (digital or paper)
• Report on payroll expenses
• Ensure wages and tax withholdings comply with regulations
• Enter new employees’ data (e.g. bank accounts and tax identification numbers) into internal databases
• Answer questions about compensation, benefits, taxes, and insurance deductions
  • government reconciliation
  • prepare govt mandates benefits remittances
  • knowledgeable in computing sss claims, PhilHealth, and taxable income

• Graduate of 4yrs course in Management/Business/Finance/Accounting or any related field.
• With atleast one (1) year experience on the same field
• Knowledgeable in BIR compliance and alphalist
• Strong math skills with an ability to spot numerical errors
• Time-management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Willing to work in Poblacion, Makati City
• Can start ASAP
