JOB DESCRIPTION

The Full Stack Developer builds websites, e-commerce sites, and digital assets that are beautiful, functional, and fast. The Full Stack Developer will work with our project manager, development team, and marketing teams to engineer uniquely user-friendly digital experiences that achieve measurable business goals. As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and server maintenance.

JOB QUALIFICATION

SCHEDULE: 9 AM – 6 PM EST, follows Philippine Holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Develop and maintain websites built on WordPress, including customizing themes and plugins, software updates, and content additions

·       Develop and maintain e-commerce websites built on BigCommerce

·       Implement SOAP and REST API integrations to extend website and e-commerce functionality

·       Develop and maintain landing pages and email templates using popular marketing automation platforms including but not limited to Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot and Responsys

·       Maintain the quality and integrity of sensitive data

·       Work in a highly collaborative environment with cross-functional teams on projects ranging from a few weeks to a few months in length

·       Clearly and concisely communicate technical challenges and solutions to clients and non-technical team members

·       Be able to effectively communicate your work with both technical and non-technical peers

·       Be excited about new web technologies and techniques

·       Produce and maintain technical documentation

·       Inform estimates and project plans from your area of expertise

QUALIFICATIONS

·       A Bachelor’s degree in the related field

·       5+ years building modern websites, e-commerce sites, and digital assets in a fast-paced professional environment

·       Minimum of 4 years experience with HTML and CSS

·       Minimum of 4 years with JavaScript and proficiency in at least one modern JavaScript framework (React and AngularJS) including the ability to work with remote APIs and third-party web services, loading data asynchronously, and using JavaScript templates and dynamic views

·       BigCommerce experience is preferred but not required

·       Experience developing WordPress core, themes, plugins, and/or other content management systems

·       Experience integrating third-party tools, APIs, and CRMs as well as content migration between platforms

·       Experience working in marketing automation platforms (Marketo, HubSpot, and Pardot)

·       Comfortable with version control, preferably Git

·       Proficient in responsive design development methodologies and best practice

·       Familiarity with server-side programming (Node.JS, and Python)

·       Familiarity with optimization techniques for improving page load times

·       Basic knowledge of search engine optimization is preferred but not required

·       High level of English language proficiency

·       Strong and proactive written and verbal communication skills

·       Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation

·       Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
