Responsibilities:
Surveying and Mapping: Conduct precise and comprehensive geodetic surveys to establish accurate control points and reference systems for high-rise construction projects. Use advanced surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and laser scanners, to gather data for accurate mapping and measurements.
Construction Layout: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate design plans into on-site construction layouts. Utilize survey data to mark and establish key reference points, lines, and levels on the ground, ensuring accurate positioning and alignment of structural elements.
Monitoring and Quality Control: Implement monitoring systems to assess the stability and deformation of the construction site during various stages of high-rise project development. Conduct regular inspections and measurements to identify potential deviations from the design and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
BIM Integration: Work closely with Building Information Modeling (BIM) teams to integrate geodetic data into the digital models. Ensure accurate alignment between physical construction and digital representations, facilitating coordination and clash detection among various trades.
Geotechnical Support: Assist in geotechnical investigations by conducting soil and rock sampling, analyzing data, and providing recommendations for foundation design. Collaborate with geotechnical engineers to assess ground conditions and make informed decisions regarding construction methods and techniques.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and visual representations of survey data, monitoring results, and other geodetic information. Maintain accurate records of measurements, computations, and relevant project information.
Communication and Collaboration: Liaise and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless integration of geodetic data into the construction process. Communicate effectively to address any survey-related issues or challenges that may arise during high-rise construction projects.
