JOB DESCRIPTION
THE ROLE
The Personal Property Tax Specialist is responsible for managing the bulk of information and
reporting; auditing documents is also a big part of the daily routine.
JOB QUALIFICATION
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
> Gather information from clients such as balance sheets and financials
> Help determine what is taxable and what is not
> Go through and vet/audit all the information prior to submitting it
> Review values
> Assist with accepting values
> Help prepare appeals packets
> Review documents
> Upload information into the company's system
> Add notes to reports that the system creates
QUALIFICATIONS
> A major in Accounting or Finance background in college would be helpful
> Computer-proficient and able to learn a new computer system
> Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required; a neutral accent is
a plus
> Experience in a multi-client environment
> Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
> Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
> Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
> Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
