JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manipulate the heavy equipment to ensure the appropriate movement of materials and lifting of heavy loads such as soil and other construction debris.
- Strictly adhering to safety regulations and ensuring potential hazards are minimized.
- Following site grading and operations plans.
- Working collaboratively with other construction workers and maintaining healthy relationships with them.
- Maintaining accurate PSI Vehicle Activity Log Sheet.
- Inspecting the backhoe condition before and after every trip using the PSI forms such as Daily Service Vehicle Condition Check List and Equipment Safety Inspection Check Sheet, which includes checking of oil, gas, water levels, lights, and tires.
- Performing regular maintenance to ensure that the equipment is in good working order by implementing the PSI Vehicle Preventive Maintenance Master Plan.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- TESDA NC II Certificate for HEO Hydraulic Excavator.
- At least High School Diploma.
- Physically fit since he must have the physical capacity to lift heavy loads with ease since the job involves manual labor.
- Good mechanical skills, since he must carry out basic maintenance on the equipment he operates.
- Must possess valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and traffic and road safety regulations.
