Full Job Description
We need an Estimator with at least 5+ years of experience in construction cost estimating, knowledgeable with AutoCAD, On-Screen Take-Off, Quick bid, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, MS Office, Bid preparation, procurement, pricing, & bid closing procedures, and with 12 months of on-site experience preferred; Experienced in Drywall is a plus + you must be willing to work ON-SITE | Clark. *
To prepare accurate estimates for drywall projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. Must be thorough and apt in managing relationships with key persons, the goal is to provide detailed reports so the company can make informed decisions.
JOB DUTIES:
- Use of estimating software, cost/production databases.
- Generate bid estimates within deadlines, review and analyse invitations to bid.
- Maintaining relationships with general contractor clients, monitoring proposals from submission to awarding.
- Based on project type (tenant improvement/ core and shell), size, and complexity, isolates all elements that will impact project economics and communicate as needed with the general contractor client, estimators, and project management and resolves potential issues.
- Conducting detailed analysis of contract documents (isometric, as-built, and engineering drawings) and specifications for large hard-bid, construction management, and small to medium design-build projects to determine overall project requirements (bonding, insurance, etc.).
- Related documents include project proposals, schedules, blueprints, and specifications to assess the scope and identify labor, material, and time requirements.
- Aware of project risks whilst documents and communicates to Management.
- Personally dedicated to project success and punctual in all aspects of the job.
WORKING SCHEDULE: (US SHIFT): 8PM – 5AM | MONDAY TO FRIDAY
SALARY RANGE : PHP 35,000-45,000

JOB QUALIFICATION
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years’ experience in construction cost estimating. With 12 months of onsite experience preferred. Experience in Drywall is a bonus.
- Experienced in AutoCAD software, lead and develop direct and indirect reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office, On-Screen Take-Off/Quick Bid, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam
- Updated with the most recent estimating techniques and procedures.
- Perform quantity take-offs for construction management and design-build pursuits.
- Solicit competitive pricing from contractors and suppliers for pursuit support.
- Knowledge and understanding of different construction methods, planning, scheduling, sequencing, potential problems and timelines.
- Knowledge of bid preparation, procurement, pricing, and bid closing procedures.
- Uses market and business trends to identify competitor’s advantage to influence bid-win strategies. Review project cost reports to use in strategic bid win strategies.
- Build a conceptual estimate without drawings/specifications.
REQUIRED SKILLS / SOFTWARES :
- Knowledge in AutoCAD, On-Screen Take-off/Quick Bid/ Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam/ MS Office
- Knowledge in Bid preparation, procurement, pricing, & bid closing procedures.
- 12 months of onsite experience preferred; Experience in Drywall is a plus
