Job Description Summary:
-Administers the delivery of human resource management services to departments and employees.
-Develops partnerships with management, departments and employees.
-Directs human resources staff in the areas of pension and benefits and the administration of all retirement benefits offered to civilian employees.
-Additionally, this position oversees day-to-day operations to ensure financial and operational accuracy and compliance in the administration of the Plan and the Fund.
-It establishes and monitors operational policies, procedures & standards to ensure efficiency, accuracy and prompt service to participants.
Qualifications/Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or the like
-Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel ,PPT, etc.)
-Knowledge and experience on benefits administration, plan administration or insurance processing
-Ability to gain a strong understanding of the administrative process
-Problem-solving skills, prioritization and organization skills
-Self-starter and independent, but collaborative as well
-Hit established deadlines with multiple projects
-Flexible with work schedules and shifts.
