Position Title: EQUITY PRODUCT ANALYST ( Research Manager )

Work Site: BGC Taguig, Metro Manila

* THE MAIN FOCUS IS ON RESEARCHING LONG-ONLY EQUITY INVESTMENT STRATEGIES (ASIA, CHINA AND EMERGING MARKET EQUITIES).

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Source and analyze investment ideas;

• Critically evaluate fund managers’ sustainable competitive advantages, assess their team behavioral traits and form judgment on investment skill by analyzing the investment philosophy and process.

*DOCUMENT FINDINGS*

• Create and interpret quantitative and qualitative content to help support team decision making;

• Monitor existing investment strategies used by our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 2 years in College (Courses related to Business, Research, Accounting, or Finance)

• At least 2 years work experience in the INVESTMENT INDUSTRY (equity research, investment research, manager research, consulting, investment marketing helpful);

• Curious and enthusiastic self-starter who is able to balance independent work with team collaboration;

• Analytical mind-set with openness to other opinions and fact-oriented dispositions;

• Original and creative thinker with a willingness to provide fresh perspectives and an ability to incorporate a big picture view;

• Reasonable understanding of the financial markets, intellectual inquisitiveness and professional demeanor;

• CFA Qualification is a plus ,but not required.
