JOB DESCRIPTION
- Knowledgeable in all facets of HR such as recruitment, compensation, training and development and most especially employee relation.
- Advises managers and supervisors new DOLE regulations, maintains compliance and effective human resource practices with regards to employee issues.
- Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
- Coordinates recruitment process and initiates recruitment ads; reviews applications/ resume; assist managers with screening applicants; ensures offers are made in accordance with procedures.
- Partners with manager to plan, analyze, and develop staffing needs and determine organizational structure.
- Conducts new hire employee orientations, apprises employees benefit options and accurately complete requisite paperwork for new staff members.
- May perform non-human resources related administrative and operational duties.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- 2 or more years of extensive experience in the human resource field resources with an emphasis on employment, employee relations, benefits and compensation.
- Must have strong planning and organizing with attention to detail and accuracy; effective oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills
- Must show strong initiative, exercise sound judgement and take appropriate actions when necessary;
- Must have intermediate PC skills to format reports, presentations, spreadsheets, graphics, general word processing, etc.
- Must be able to maintain time management
- Must be trustworthy, have good ethics and self-discipline
- There's a chance to be promotes as a HR Manager.

COMPANY OVERVIEW
JB Music and Sports, Inc. is a wholesale, retail and sole distributor of various globally known musical instruments, sports and professional audio equipments and related accessories. The company also provides technical and audio assistance for events and concert purposes held in the country.
It was established in 1974 fully owned and managed by a Filipino Family. Started out as a single musical store in Cubao but with hard work and persistence, the family owned company has grown larger with the present 26 and expanding branches nationwide. In addition to the musical equipments, the company also ventured into the wholesale and retail of sports equipments.
During the second quarter of 2015, the Company ventured into a new business partnering with some of the biggest supermarkets in the country, the Concession business was opened. In 2018, three (3) years after this business unit was born, it has now opened inside the biggest supermarkets in Metro Manila.
JB Music and Sports, Inc. aims to grow and expand the business therefore another business unit was opened in that same year. In July of 2015, the company have opened their doors to their very first Online Store. With the signed partnership with Lazada, one of the biggest online shopping networks in the country, they started offering musical instruments through this portal. As the online business gets to be well known in our country, the company also opened their own online store in July 2016 for music products and in December 2017 for their Sports products. Another breakthrough happened that same month and year, as they have gained partnership with Shoppee, another growing Online Store in the country.
