JOB DESCRIPTION

THE ROLE

Our client is looking for a Finance Associate to support a US-based restaurant group. This role will

focus on processing invoices, performing accounts payable-related work, reconciliations, and

general ledger management for expenses.

JOB QUALIFICATION

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

> Oversee the openings and construction of new restaurants

> Manage construction schedule timelines and follow up for key dates

> Process construction invoices

> Submit AP reports weekly and track bank activity to AP

> Determine the cost to build and track it to budget weekly

> Assist in weekly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of financials and bank accounts

> Manage due to and from assets

> Handle AP entry and proper timely GL coding for accurate financials

> Perform bank account reconciliation using a cash management accounting software

> Review corporate activity at the restaurant level for coding

> Review operating activity and ensure proper GL coding for expenses

 

QUALIFICATIONS

> A Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field

> 2-3 years of equivalent experience

> Experience in a multi-client environment

> Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications

> Strong organization, oral and written communication skills

> Analytical skills with particular attention to detail

> Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation

> Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
