JOB DESCRIPTION
Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
JOB QUALIFICATION
n individual may become a HVAC Technician through study at trade and technical schools, as well as some vocational colleges. Programs generally take two years to complete, and may also include an apprenticeship with a certified HVAC provider.
