JOB DESCRIPTION
THE ROLE
As an ABAP Development Support Specialist, you are responsible for developing and testing software around a certified SAP solutions suite. You are expected to develop complex tasks with little supervision. Your technical skills should be current and updated.
JOB QUALIFICATION
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
> Develop and test enhancements to our certified SAP solutions suite
> Develop and test bug fixes to our certified SAP solutions suite
> Attend daily stand-up progress meetings and backlog/requirements refinements meetings
QUALIFICATIONS
> A Bachelor’s degree in the related field
> 2+ years’ experience required
> A background programming in SAP ABAP OOP
> Has a background in transports and source code control
> Experience in RFCs/BADIs/BAPIs/ABAP OOP/user exits/enhancements
> Experience in dialog programming and report writing using ALV and ABAP lists
> Experience delivering projects with Agile Methodology?
> Experience with the SAP application development lifecycle?
> Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
> Proven track record in writing unit tests
> Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
> Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
> Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
> Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
> Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
