COMPANY OVERVIEW

Few decades ago, the problems of air and water pollutions has already been a major concern by rich and developed countries. Few years later, this environmental problem became a global concern, and even seen as a threat to the lives of human beings. Gradually, demands from worldwide environmental advocates and external pressures by rich countries and economies have compelled developing countries and their governments to adapt measures to address the growing threat in their own respective homelands.
In the Philippines, applicable laws were promulgated, approved and implemented by the government and the private sectors. This move opened a venue for the business sectors and entrepreneurs to look at the situation as a big long term business opportunity.
Inspired by this event, and aiming to support the country’s environmental objective, early in 1997, two young practicing Chemical Engineers with 10 years combined experience and expertise in the field, formed and established the FLUID TECHNOLOGIES & ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, INC. (FTEMI). It started as a small Engineering Consultancy firm, providing technical and consultancy services to various interests in the area of Environmental Engineering and Management. For several years in operation, FTEMI was ably steered by the founders as it weathered the economic difficulties and survived the stiff competitions from other industry players. The market demand continued to grow parallel with the increasing global awareness on the issue.
Gearing up to face the challenges, in 2002, FTEMI founders and shareholders decided and executed a major organizational restructuring and changes. Aimed at streamlining the system with a more defined and focused organization, to establish and strengthen the operating units to meet the demand of the customers, introduced innovative corporate strategies and institutionalized customer service quality policy. This move has paid off.
FTEMI celebrated its 17th year anniversary in May 2015 with increasing Sales revenue year after year, and never looked back from then. The enterprise continued to grow healthier and stronger.
