Tax Accountant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepares monthly, quarterly & annual tax returns (VAT, Expanded Withholding Tax, & Fringe Benefit Tax), and ensures accurately and timely filing and remittance to the BIR and other related in tax.
• Coordinates with local government agencies in compliance with the requirements needed monthly, quarterly & annual.
• Prepares local statutory reports to the SEC
• Prepares and submits out-of-payroll transactions to HR and coordinates the monthly & annual Compensation and Final Tax payments.
• Coordinates with the AP Accountant for all supporting documents needed in the VAT claim based on the monthly/quarterly VAT return.
• Assists in the annual registration of the books of accounts and business permits.
• Performs other functions as may be assigned by the Finance Manager.

JOB QUALIFICATION:

• Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelors of Science in Accountancy, preferably CPA
• With at least 2 years equivalent work experience in audit and taxation.
• Experience/exposure: SAP Accounting System
• Knowledgeable on Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point
• Proficient in speaking English. Excellent in written and in verbal communication.
• Should be organized, efficient and accurate
