JOB DESCRIPTION
Authorities & Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency treatment in the workplace.
- Maintained a quality, clean and safe company's medical clinic
- Systematically maintains an up-to-date inventory of medicines and supplies and replenishes supply on schedule; maintenance of medical instruments.
- Administer over-the-counter medication to employees.
- Maintained a quality, clean and safe company's medical clinic
- Document all employee injury and illness and keep this information confidential.
- Improve the health of employees through on-going programs and health checks.
- Communicate with management on a regular basis.
- Attend seminar workshops on HIV/AIDS, Gender Sensitivity, Family planning, and Stress Management.
- Schedule employees' Annual Physical Examination with our HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) provider.
- Served as first aider to injured workers
- Assessed job hazards and incorporated health promotion strategies to minimize accidents
- Monitor employees health status
- Assess employees health condition and referred to hospital
- Assisted employees during hospitalization and monitored the progress of health condition
- Ensured that the sick employees submit “fit to work” certificate.
- Interpreted and evaluated diagnostic test based on the verification of medical certificates.
- Assessed and determined health status of employees after an illness in the absence of company Physician.
- Performs other tasks that can be assigned from time to time.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Candidate must possess Bachelor’s/College Degree in Nursing with PRC License
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a company or a regular nurse.
- Undergone the Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training is a huge plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A warm and caring disposition.
- Excellent observational skills
- Advanced knowledge in public safety and industrial health standards
- Outstanding knowledge of principles, practices and current trends in nursing
- Exceptional knowledge of preventive health practices
- Has a strong tolerance to pressure, detail-oriented ability to multi-tasks and can meet deadline
- Experience managing a Corporate Safety programs is preferable.
- Sensitive to employees’ feeling and able to keep HR matters confidential
- Ability to exhibit patience and tolerance
