IT Support (Job Controller)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Full Job Description

This role receives a job from the client via phone and email, assesses the request, prioritize the request, creates a “Job” in the ERP System, and assigns the Job to the Consultant. This role tracks all incoming jobs and has to be highly organized.

JOB DUTIES

  • Tracks the progress of each and every job in the system, completely from beginning to end.

Knowledge about the Job, skills need to tackle the task, idea of how much effort the Job should require, and keep track of the Job after it has been allocated to a consultant

  • Helpdesk Support

Record in ERP and triage all jobs coming in via phone and email, classify Jobs using Ranking System, assign the Job as per ERP Assignment, communicate with the client as to the progress of the Job and handle simple job such as password changes/access issues.

  • General Task

Reviewing mailbox and assigning relevant Jobs, reviewing security mailbox to ensure any vulnerability notifications are being actioned appropriately, and reviewing all backup reports. Create Jobs for any backups which have failed. If successive daily failures persist, prioritize the Job higher.

JOB QUALIFICATION

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT and Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Job Controller or in a similar role
  • Experience working as a Technical Team Manager
  • Knowledge in using different ERP systems like Jim2NetSuite or any related tool is highly regarded.
  • Advanced computer skills, specifically in using Microsoft 365.
  • Must be able to communicate job information in sound business language so people of all levels can understand.
  • Strong decision-making ability.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, flexibility, and strong work ethic.
  • Willing to work ONSITE.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
