JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

  • Sets up station, it includes cutting in vegetable, fabrication of meats and seafoods, marination or even advance cooking and portioning of ingredients
  • Cooks and prepares food according to the standard recipe
  • Practices proper food handling from receiving, preparing, cooking, cooling and storing of ingredients
  • Receives deliveries from supplier and from the driver/purchaser
  • Assists colleagues if needed
  • Helps in monitoring of inventory including monthly inventory count
  • Other tasks that may be assigned by his/her superior

JOB QUALIFICATION

Requirements:
  • Must have at least a High school diploma, Vocational or Associate degree or a Bachelor's degree
  • Certificate in culinary arts or related field is a plus
  • With a background in Korean or Asian cuisine
  • WIth a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices, food safety, food handling, and cooking methods
  • Can adapt quickly and willing to work cooperatively and efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant
