JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Compiling, analyzing, and reporting sales data. Monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, customer, and market trends. Providing actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing team. Contributing to the development of sales plans and objectives.                                      

  • Participates in the development of sales related analysis. Identifies sources of incremental value creation, best practices and improvement opportunities.
  • Compile and analyze data over time to forecast sales trends; and participate in forecasting, budgeting and assist with Plan of Attack (POA) presentations.
  • Collects data and formulates intelligence to help achieve/accelerate sales growth.
  • Prepare and distribute detailed real time daily/weekly performance summary reports; Identify
    and recommend targeted weekly goals and objectives to management.
  • Review past sales data to determine trends in productivity.
  • Develop and edit a wide variety of documents to include but not limited to communications, presentations, organizational charts, reports, agendas and minutes of meetings.
  • Perform cross functional root cause analysis to identify deficiencies, identify areas.
    of opportunity and develop solutions.
  • Prepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sources.
  • Gather and analyze data in order to understand problems and address them proactively.

JOB QUALIFICATION

Job Specifications:

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role as lead or assistant.
  • Prospective analyst to have work experience in the sales or finance sector, and experience with marketing and communications is also a bonus.
  • Experience in a frozen food organization is a plus.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven analytical skills in data mining, data manipulation, report development and visualization
  • Problem Solving: Excellent decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. Anticipates, identifies and defines problems. Seeks root causes. Develops and implements practical and timely solutions. Proactive approach as opposed to reactive.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel, pivot table, and chart development experience.
  • Require interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
