The Fleet Manager is responsible for all areas relating to company vehicle operations: primarily fleet trucks for delivering products to customers, and also including company shuttle services, employee vehicles in accordance with a company car/motorcycle policy, forklifts, and motorized jack lifts for warehouse operations, etc, etc. The position is in charge of making sure processes are efficient and effective, and the product is delivered to customers completely, accurately, and in a timely manner. Maintenance of company vehicles and related equipment is also in scope. The Fleet Manager is also responsible for making sure fleet personnel are performing according to company performance standards and adhering to company rules and regulations and promoting company culture. Monitoring expenses, setting budgets, and holding regular department meetings are just some of the regular activities of this role. The Fleet Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager which requires strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES PRIMARY
? Ensures that product is delivered to customers complete, accurately, and on time
? Ensuring the team is able to provide an excellent customer delivery experience
? Responsible for resolving internal and external customer complaints in a timely manner
? Responsible for supervising the programs of employee and fleet vehicles maintenance, repair, insurance, assignment, utilization, acquisition, and compliance with government permits, licenses,s, and regulations
? Responsible for analyzing the Fleet department's effectiveness and efficiency
? managing & Control fleet operating Costs and ensuring that the fleet is operating at optimum efficiency & ready at all times. ADMINISTRATIVE
? Responsible for planning, approval, and proper allocation of Fleet budget to cut costs and maximize profits ? Responsible for searching and negotiating with suppliers
? Responsible for registering and licensing Company-owned vehicles. Ensuring these are all up to date and in compliance with relevant Gov’t. Land Transportation Rules & Policies.
? Manages and Maintains records for all company registered vehicles, preventive maintenance, and traffic violations (if any).
? Ensures all Drivers and Helpers are regularly trained and tested as required by Law.
? Ensures all Drivers have up-to-date, valid Professional Driver's License. DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL

? Responsible for hiring and training Fleet employees
? Ensuring the team is in compliance with company policies and procedures
? Responsible for team regular meetings
? Responsible for team performance evaluation
? Responsible for setting the team daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly key performance indicators and priority
QUALIFICATIONS
? Experience in Logistics and Fleet vehicle maintenance and utilization management. Preferably at least 5 years experience.
? Bachelor's degree graduate, preferably in business, logistics & supply chain, or Industrial engineering.
? Leadership experience has to be experience in leading teams, preferably with a logistics operations background. Has a passion for teaching and developing his team members.
? At least 5 years of leadership experience.
? Is able to formulate KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for his team. Track and mentor continuous improvement.
? Good communication skills, written, and verbal, and is able to present to his team plans and direction.
? Open to New Ideas, and willing to learn new things and implement change
SKILLS AND QUALITIES
? Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or any related course
? At least 5 years of experience in handling the Fleet department
