BILLING ASSISTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop in-depth understanding of billing system functionality.
  • Setting up of new Managed Services Agreement in Business Central, One touch control and the different billing platforms and keeping a record of it.
  • Updating for any financial implication of amendment to Managed Services Agreement in Business Central, one touch control and keeping a record of it.
  • Process consumption reports in ServiceNow, One Touch Control, and Business Central in an accurate and timely manner.
  • On-time customer invoicing in Business Central and billing platforms for all ad-hoc services, hardware sales, and recurring items.
  • Communicate effectively with other employees that play a role in the billing functions in all areas of the business.
  • Work closely with supervisor to ensure operational procedures are followed.
  • Partner with internal partners to resolve billing issues and follow up on unbilled issues.
  • Accomplishes billing departmental objectives by maintaining metrics.
  • Monitor billings email box and directing email as they arise.
  • Provide training and coaching when needed.
  • Other Administration/ Accounts project work as required.

JOB QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, business or equivalent
  • At least 3+ years of relevant working experience in billing
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Language
  • Keen attention to details and effective organization skills
  • Proficient ability to detect errors and inconsistencies
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong problem resolution skills
