Molecular Laboratory Technologist position to perform molecular detection and identification of bacteria and yeast in clinical specimens; may perform testing, phlebotomy, or collection of other clinical specimens as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology from an accredited institution;
• Must be a Registered Medical Technologist;
• Training in sterile techniques (e.g. microbial cultures, tissue culture, PCR) highly desirable;
• Must have at least two (2) years of laboratory experience in high complexity testing;
• With experience in DNA / RNA extraction or Molecular Microbiology;
• Must be good at problem-solving, critical thinking and gives attention to detail since small differences can be crucial to a diagnosis;
• Must be computer literate;
• Should have manual dexterity and normal color vision;.
• With good oral and written communication skills;
• Amenable to work in Arch. Bishop Reyes;
• Willing to work in a Molecular Laboratory;
• Willing to work in a start-up company.
