Supports the implementation of all policies, processes and initiatives in the following QAC functions/facets:
o Monitors execution of set quality and food safety plans during blending operations.
o Checks the condition and accuracy of all raw materials in terms of quality, expiry, traceability, weight and other details prior to production use.
o Validates the product for rework prior to production use through visual inspection.
o Checks and monitors compliance to approved manufacturing procedures specifically established parameters, specifications and product process flow.
o Monitors and provides feedback concerning pest control within blending area.o Verifies daily production monitoring.
o Conducts sampling of GIPs for the purpose of testing and evaluation prior to packaging.o Monitors and assures that materials are used and processed under proper environmental conditions as required based on the material specifications.
o Works closely with Production Department – Blending Section in ensuring compliance to established standards, parameters and specifications all the time.
o Prepares Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for GIPs considered with off specifications and deviations.
o Collaborates with Production Department and monitors status of NCRs and Corrective Actions on a regular basis.
o Prepares monthly summary reports on the NC Reports and Corrective Actions as reference to the status of the products with complaints to External Providers.
B. cGWP/cGMP and other Quality-related standardso Assists the QAC Supervisor in the implementation, monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement of cGWP/cGMP, Food Safety, HACCP and other quality related standards in the blending area (e.g. inspection of the area after general cleaning, cleaning and sanitation of tools and equipment, etc.)
.o Gathers and checks cGWP/cGMP Deviation Report in addition to NCR and recommends corrective actions to avoid recurrence of specific cGWP/cGMP deviation.
o Assists in the preparation and conduct of in-house Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Current Good Warehousing Practices (cGWP), Food Safety and HACCP seminar/refresher course (in coordination with HRDA Department) to all new and existing food handlers, Warehouse & Logistics personnel in conformance with FDA standards and customers’ requirements.
o Assists in the conduct of product knowledge/orientation and/or refresher course for new/existing employees (technical & sales personnel) focusing on the technical modules.
C. Quality Management Systemo Works with the QAC Department in the smooth and seamless implementation of QAC policies, procedures, work instructions and forms/checklist aligned with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
o Attends and participates in all QMS related trainings, meetings and audits.o Supports the continuous improvement of work practices and processes in the Department.
