JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Specialist represents the company and is responsible for improving sales and overall business growth in the assigned territory/s and business unit/s.
Territory Management
- Ensure that company set sales goals are achieved
- Responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions
- Sales responsibilities:
- Creates and executes effective call plan
- Active promotion to current and potential accounts
- Utilize company samples and support materials for maximum impact to achieve sales goals
- Identify sales prospects and follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
- Conduct product presentation and demonstration
- Closing deals
- Forecasting
- Inventory monitoring to customers
- Booking of orders
- Collection and remittance
- Monitor status of repairs
- Build business relationships with assigned customers
- Deliver orders of accounts as the need arise or in the absence of delivery personnel
- Provide reports as to progress of sales funnel and activities
- Communicate and collaborate with SMD on projects and sales goals
Business Unit Management
- Initiate ways to develop business units assigned
- Conducting market research and sharing findings with the team
- Ensure that company set goals are achieved by monitoring progress of prospects and maintain patronage of current customers
- Providing accurate sales forecasts and allocating resources so targets are met.
- Analyzing sales team performance and scheduling training/refresher sessions accordingly
- Working alongside the team to draw up strategies to increase customer base
- Provide reports and/ or information required by principal suppliers necessary in developing the business
- Address concerns related to the business unit assigned
- Initiate and/or support activities necessary for business development of assigned products
- Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and related diseases through training courses, readings and consultations
- Keeping up to date with advancements in marketing.
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Preferably, graduate of BS in Medical Technology, BS in Nursing
or any related courses.
- Willing to be assigned anywhere in the country.
- Excellent customer service, leadership and communication skills.
