JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

The main focus of the role is to support and maintain from our MPLS backbone and down to customer edge devices, as well as grow the network reach as required. The role will test your diagnostics and resolution skills whilst maintaining our SLAs and customer satisfaction. A hands on role to lead and manage a team of Network Engineers.

JOB QUALIFICATION

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years hands on experience with Cisco networking in a service provider environment/Telco company
  • A minimum of current CCNA/CCNP, though higher certifications like CCIE is an advantage
  • Experience with BGP/EIGRP/VRF/MPLS/RADIUS, carrier interconnect methodologies and peering is essential
  • Excellent diagnostics and resolution skills
  • Contribute to a high powered and high output team
  • Build rapport with people quickly and effectively
  • Capable of building long term relationships with internal customers, staff and suppliers
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong customer service ethic and focus
  • Self-motivation and ability to work proactively in this busy environment
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skill

Must have:
