JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities
? Develop software applications in .NET with C#.
? Provide Level 2 and 3 level technical assistance as a result of escalated client requests
? Provide support in the areas of problem investigation and production environment support
? Resolve IT issues related to portals and loaders
? Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues
? Working both individually and as part of a larger team to deliver automated solutions
? Working with APIs to both get and post data.
? Building unit tests and promoting continuous improvement throughout every stage of
development
? Ongoing maintenance and support of existing automated reports and components.
? Validation of client data and transactional data.
? Generation of formatted reports and files to be sent to clients and 3rd party APIs
Education & Experience
? Experience in coding web/desktop applications using Microsoft technologies
? Experience with Object-Oriented Programming
? Cross-browser experience
? Experience in writing SQL queries, functions, store procedures and triggers
Critical Skills
? C#
? .NET MVC, Web API using Visual Studio
? HTML
? CSS, Responsive web design
? JavaScript
? SQL Server
? REST API
Desirable
? Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
? ASP.NET Core using C# and Entity Framework Core
? Python specifically including Numpy and Pandas libraries
? Parsing HTML with library such as Beautiful Soup
? Building dashboards in Tableau or Power BI for Business Intelligence.
? JQuery
? Git / Team Foundation Server
? Quantitative/data analysis background
