JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Develop and conduct research for new markets and build existing markets.
  2. Conduct a company presentation to discuss the merits of services.
  3. Perform follow-up calls and visits with customers in order to close business deals.
  4. Promptly respond to customer queries.
  5. Develop business proposals for prospective and existing customers.
  6. Create strategies to ensure customer retention including interviewing for feedback to improve services.
  7. Gather information about business development practices, marketing activities, prospective clients, and industry trends.
  8. Maintain and update the list of client information, referrals, RFPs, prospects, and presentations.
  9. Contact potential clients develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
  10. Manage customer calls and appointments effectively and promptly.
  11. Participate and attend industry forums, client discussions, and conferences.
  12. Supervise the client relationship management database and utilize it to manage customer contacts and mailing lists.
  13. Undertake desk-based research to support the Business Development team in identifying new lead opportunities.
  14. Develop and maintain personal knowledge of priority sectors; market trends and routes to market for improved effectiveness within a sales support function.
