JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description:

  • Oversee the Accounts Payable Operations and Reporting 
  • Files and maintains accounts payable vouchers;
  • Prepare reports for reconciliation and ledger accounts and submit it to accounting manager.
  • Monitor all billings from suppliers and hospital providers and maintain a record for suppliers’ details.
  • Verifies supplier and medical provider accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions; resolve issues, if any.
  • Perform vendor payment reconciliation on a monthly basis and serve as subject matter expert for various account payable functions.
  • Maintaining and preparing checks, check vouchers, and resolving forms, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation and forward to accounting officer for review and signature.
  • Administer all expenses, monitor reimbursements and ensure work according to corporate expense policy.
  • Commissions Payment Processing
  • Receives and process RFP agents’ commission, rentals, advertisement and event rentals payables, utilities, water, electricity, etc.
  • Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
  • Check and record Revolving Fund / Petty Cash Reimbursement and Agent/Employee Cash Advance Liquidation
  • Ensures that all payables are scheduled and paid on-time and reviews source documents prior to voucher processing.
  • Monitors transmittal from Treasury Department;
  • Performs analysis of accounts; Analyze processes, recommend improvements for same and manage all internal controls on documents.
  • Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by immediate superior

JOB QUALIFICATION

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience handling accounts payable
  • Preferably with HMO/Insurance/Healthcare background.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Possesses a high level of integrity and ethical mindset especially with dealing with the functional units in order to promote transparency, fairness and accountability in the organization.
  • Willing to work ASAP
