JOB DESCRIPTION
- Primary responsibility shall be the supervision of the accounting personnel involved in the preparation and timely submission of the monthly/year-end financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity & Cash Flow Statement, Monthly Schedule of Accounts and Variance Analysis between Budget and Actual Results of Operations).
- Ensure sufficient controls are in place to ensure accurate accounting
- Provide support to the Finance Manager in preparing periodic financial reporting and other issues related to the department activity
- Maintain relationships/communications with other Departments
- Liaising with external auditors, tax and government authorities
JOB QUALIFICATION
- FEMALE, not more than 40 years old
- BS Accounting or Management Accounting Graduate
- With at least 4-5 years experience in general accounting
- Highly dependable and can work under pressure
- Flexible, organized and trustworthy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and other Accounting Software Applications
- Knowledge of Finance, accounting, bookkeeping, budgeting and cost control principles including generally accepted accounting principles
- Required skill(s): must have experience in general accounting/preparation of financial statement, audit experience will be an added advantage, must be computer literate, must be willing to work overtime to meet deadlines, can work under pressure with minimal supervision, must be a team player.
