Key Responsibilities:
• Contact customers via phone and mail to secure payments to past-due obligation, to determine the reason(s) for it, and to obtain a commitment to pay, negotiate payment in full or payment arrangements
• Adhere to established guidelines when determining appropriate collection remedy
• Develop and work through repayment schedules with various alternatives, in addition to explaining the consequences of delinquency, to customers in the attempt of obtaining payments
• Accurately and thoroughly document the pertinent collection activity performed
• Review the account information and necessary system applications to determine the next appropriate work activity
• Process credit card payments as required
• Two or more (2+) years experience
• Strong understanding of billing and collection processes
• In-depth knowledge of laws and policies related to debt collection
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to ensure and document customer commitment to payment schedules, i.e., future, partial, and installment plans
• Self-starter and ability to work independently or in a group
• Ability to investigate complex situations and offer solutions for resolutions
• Experience with skip tracing is desired
• Willing to work onsite in our Alabang, Muntinlupa City office
