Job Description:

• Canvass items and check their prices and delivery lead time
• Process Purchase Order based on approved request
• Update supplier performance according to purchasing policy
• Sourcing of alternative supplier to generate possible saving favorable to the company and negotiate prices
• Monitor agreed delivery schedule
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships
• Receive goods on behalf of the company if requested and check the goods according to set procedures.
• Review and approve purchase order placement of buyers for accuracy and optimum delivery and pricing.
• Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
• Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Meets with vendors to negotiate improved pricing, product quality, and delivery.
• Ensure competitive quotes are obtained in accordance with the purchasing procedure and strict confidentiality are maintained.
• Ensure authorized signatures are sought for all purchase orders
