JOB DESCRIPTION

Scope:

A Spa Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a health or beauty spa. They handle the bookkeeping, the employees, and the services that are offered by the spa. Depending on the size of the facility, they may be more into the business side of things, or they may play more of a customer service role.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible to inform staff of job responsibilities, performance expectations, client standards, or corporate policies and guidelines.
  2. Responsible in submitting DTR and commission report to HRD and finance.
  3. Monitoring of operations to ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, or hygiene standards.
  4. Plan or direct spa services and programs; develop or implement marketing strategies
  5. Perform accounting duties, such as recording daily cash flow, preparing bank deposits or generating financial statements.
  6. Assess and develop employee performance and suggest ways to improve work and guide in goal achievement; Train staff in the use or sale of products, programs or activities.
  7. Plan or direct spa services and programs.
  8. Check and coordinate spa equipment s and facility schedules to ensure proper functioning and maximize usage and efficiency.
  9. Prepares staff schedule and supervise scheduling
  10. Establish spa budgets and financial goals.
  11. Inventory products and order new supplies.
  12. Maintain, schedule guest appointments thru client databases and respond to customer inquiries or complaints.
  13. Sell products, services, or memberships.
  14. Other tasks as assign by the Admin Manager and HRD
