Responsible to prepare, analyze, and report financial performance against key business metrics. Prepare budget and regular forecast in conjunction with the requirements of the Head office.
Evaluates the processed accounting information in the system to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget and operating effectiveness of the organization.
Responsible to oversee month-end closing process. Ensure transactions for the months are completely, accurately, and timely captured and recorded in the books.
Leads and ensures compliance with audit and tax reporting. Liaise with auditors (internal and external), tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
Supervision of the members of the Finance & Accounting department, providing functional guidance to other departments and interacting with insurance companies, tax consultants, auditors, and commercial/government banks to effectively control the assets of the business.
Assists in providing financial guidance in the formulation and implementation of strategic plan, budget and key performance objectives.
Engaged in the business of port terminal management operations including cargo handling, passenger, roll-on/roll-off and other port terminal related services.
