VIDEOGRAPHER/VIDEO EDITOR JOB OVERVIEW
Works hand in hand with the HRD-Learning & Development.
Collaborate with the L&D Team for video projects to be accomplished.
Shoot and edit video to capture important training sessions, training events, and other training materials needed.
Conceptualize training materials in video format.
Edit and revise videos from time to time for training updates.
Submit finished training material on time.
Manipulate and edit video pieces in a way that is suitable to the audience.
Trim video footage segments and put together the sequence of the video.
Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
Create rough and final cuts.
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
Consult with the training team from production to post-production process.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven work experience as a video editor.
Experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut)
Demonstrable video editing ability.
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
Creative mind and storytelling skills.
