1. Responsible and accountable for the organized, segregated, well-labeled, safe and secure storage of all molds, dies, toolings, accessories and auxiliary equipment.
2. Responsible and accountable for the regular mold and die maintenance before and after use in production through proper cleaning, oiling and servicing.
3. Operates a variety of small machines, tools and equipment and ensures their proper accountability, use and care.
4. Ensures availability and readiness of mold accessories such as Hex bolt, pin, pneumatic push in fittings, quick connector, heaters, as per checklist; Ensures checklist is regularly updated.
5. Establishes and performs scheduled preventive maintenance on all molds and dies on a timely, efficient and effective basis in order to ensure their quality and accuracy.
6. Verifies conformance of molds and dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearance and alignments against checklist standards.
7. Coordinates closely with the Mould Setter/ Adjuster with regard to:
- transport of molds, fixtures and auxiliary equipment from the Mold Rack to the assigned production machine for set-up
- transport of molds, fixtures and auxiliary equipment from the production machine to the Mould Rack after removal/ dismount
8. Conducts diagnoses, recommends mold part or die improvement/ modification, and coordinates with the Machinist if needed, if corrective maintenance is required on the mold or die during production.
9. Fills-out the Job Order Form (JOF) completely, accurately and legibly with regard to the work done for mold or die diagnosis, modification or repair activities.
10. Brings immediately to the EMD Supervisor’s attention any problems, issues or abnormalities.
11. Maintains 5S/ house-keeping/ cleanliness of machinery & equipment and work areas.
12. Responsible & accountable for all assets/ equipment/ tools turned over to him/ her through the Property Transfer Slip (PTS) process.
13. Strictly complies with all company policies, procedures, employee code of conduct, safety, health & environment (SHE) programs, quality management system, etc.
14. Attends the appropriate training sessions/courses identified for him/her.
15. Participates actively in working committees and/or task forces that he/she may be assigned to from time to time.
16. Performs other duties assigned by EMD management.
Husky Plastics Corporation (HPC) was registered with Securities and Exchange Commission on September 24, 1994 as a manufacturing company of plastics product (kitchenware, spoon, and fork utensils, plastic bowls, plates and water dippers. Distributed to major supermarket like Tropical Hut (Q Value), Rustan’s (Sure Buy) and SM (Bonus).
In the year 2000 they shifted to some electrical products and started to produce Husky PVC electrical boxes, covers and split knobs.
On the following year HPC began its OEM operation with Crown Asia Compounders Corporation for the company company’s Crown pipes brand of uPVC potable water and electric fittings.
Thereafter, the company acquired businesses with the other companies through OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing), utilizing its custom build injection molding production facilities to serve the various needs for the home building industry, commercial, industrial residential, furniture, packaging and other businesses.
In 2007, HPC accepted requirements from Crown Pipes for the brand’s sanitary fittings, American Wire and Cable Inc. and Targeting lighting fixtures
