JOB DESCRIPTION
Key responsibilities:
- Perform manual Functional and Regression testing, recording the results and raising defects.
- Ensure minimal impact is experienced by the core Business systems during code releases.
- Provide testing support to the Systems team when required.
- Daily test targets are delivered.
- Continuous communication with the Product Manager for feedback on the status of testing. (Reporting and Escalating)
- Manage and track issues/bugs and their resolutions.
- Create proper documentation of test results and cases.
- Create and Execute proper Testing processes and practices.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in Software QA or related roles.
- Proficient in testing cycle including functional and regression testing.
- Applied knowledge in Agile methodologies (Sprint, extreme programming)
- Applied knowledge in Issue Management Tracking Systems such as ‘JIRA’,
- Good and applied knowledge in Git
