Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures that computer hardware and software, as well as networks and servers, work consistently and correctly.
• Ensures that employees’ work stations can successfully connect to networks and access business-critical data at all times. Configures network security settings and connect peripheral devices, like printers, scanners and biometrics devices, that are used by multiple users.
• Installs programs, configure networks and databases, and provide assistance to end users.
• Maintains information security throughout the organization which includes monitoring access logs and building database security procedures. Sets up antivirus programs at work stations, develop policies for email security, and perform periodic data audits and backups to prevent information loss and unauthorized access.
• Provides support to daily IT related concerns (troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance).
• Plans company hardware/software upgrades for overall system improvement/efficiency. Identifies issues with new hardware or software and works with users or on the back end of servers to quickly resolve those issues and prevent delays. Prepares reports on hardware and software issues
• Performs other duties and functions as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
• Has at least 3 years of work experience in related field specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Visual Basic; MS SQL Server; UNIX; Microsoft Windows; Microsoft Office
• Knowledge in SAP B1 technical support, an advantage
• Has knowledge in Firewall configuration (SOPHOS)
• Detail-oriented, organized and hard working
• With strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• With good communication ability, both written and verbal.
• Can work well under pressure.
• Has the ability to handle sensitive information and with strong work ethics
• Willing to work in Edsa Munoz, Quezon City and Bagbaguin, Valenzuela City and do field work in other work locations
