Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science major in Computer Science, IT or other related fields
• Has at least 4 years of related experience.
• Capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery

Responsibilities: 

• Capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery
• Designs the database schema and creates necessary database objects and provides testing environment support for all supported databases
• Prepares technical specifications on database requirements for application developers for new or enhanced systems
• Performs all database migration and project cutover and implementation
• Ensures compliance to defined database implementation methodologies
• Ensure database security is implemented to safeguard the data
• Work closely with application developers and system administrators to ensure all database needs are being met
• Performs database preventive maintenance
• Performs other job-related projects and tasks as may be assigned from time to time
