while providing aid in Site Audits, Keyword Research, On-Page Optimization,
Off-Page Optimization, and SEO Analytics. He/She may also have the
opportunity to grow and learn in Paid Media Campaign executions.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main SEO Copywriter for producing Off-Page content (guest
- posts, outreach, etc.) to aid in link building efforts.
- Will act as support and QA for SEO best practices for the On-Page Site, Elements or Content that may be handled by the client or the internal Xiklab team.
- Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
- Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
- Research and implement new content recommendations for organic SEO success.
- Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities.
- Track, report, and analyze website analytics and campaigns.
- Develop and implement link building strategies to increase overall website ranking and searchability.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Follow the latest digital marketing developments, SEO and analytics-related news, monitor competitive landscape and new algorithm updates in order to understand current and future trends
- Proactive in researching and identifying valuable information/insights to improve SEO products and service offerings
- Opportunity to learn, grow and support with Paid Media requirements. Set-up and Execute paid media advertising campaigns through Social Media, Adwords, and other Paid Channels. Generate and analyze Social Media, Adwords, and other Paid Media and Analytics reports to further enhance campaign performance
- Provide other ad hoc support to account management teams and respond to client requests as needed.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time as deemed necessary by immediate superior
Qualifications
- At least 1 to 2 Years Experience in Digital Marketing, specifically with SEO Copywriting and Analytics
- Knowledge of basic on-page SEO (keyword research, meta data, URL structure, canonicals, OGP, internal link structure,image optimization, etc.)
- Basic knowledge onoff-page SEO (link audit, directory submissions, forum signatures, blog commenting, social bookmarking, etc.)
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
- Presentation skills are a plus.
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high stress environment and ensuring follow-through on every task and project
- Can work under minimal supervision
- Data management experience required.
- Experienced with extracting and computing website metrics.
- Must have grace under pressure

- Strong analytical and number skills
- Strong ability to provide insights that can be derived from analytics data
- Knowledge in the different Ad Units and Optimizations across different paid channels such as Google Search, GDN, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram Advertising are a plus
- Search and Analytics Certifications are a plus
- Paid Media Certifications are a plus
