JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for the purchase of goods, materials and services to ensure that Hotel operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply. of business with suppliers
- Be updated of latest market trends / sources for goods and materials seasonal supplies
- Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance
- Assess tenders and quotations from potential suppliers
- Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organizational targets and requirements
- Work closely with internal departments for daily orders and
- Responsible in tracking and receiving of orders
- Perform physical stock count at month end together with accounting department
- Reconcile differences between book records and physical quantities
