The Systems Administrator is primarily responsible for the performance and security of ECPay’s environment.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, or similar role
• Experience with networks (LAN, WAN), patch management, and databases
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft-(MCSA), or other network related fields are a plus
Qualifications
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
• Must have 2-4 years of system administration (Windows and/or Linux), network administration or database experience
• Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
• Experience with scripting and automation tools
• Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
