JOB DESCRIPTION

- Must consider the following factors when making purchasing decisions:
- Analyzing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends
- Regularly reviewing performance indicators, such as sales and discount levels
- Managing plans for stock levels
- Reacting to changes in demand and logistics
- Meeting suppliers and negotiating terms of contract
- Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and sourcing new suppliers for future products
- Liaising with other departments with the company to ensure projects are completed
- Attending trade fairs, to select and assemble a new collection of products
- Participating in promotional activities
- Writing reports and forecasting sales levels
- Presenting new ranges to senior management team
- Liaising with Sales team to ensure supply meets demand
- Getting feedback from customers
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be graduate of Management, Marketing, or any related commerce courses
- At least 1-3 years of experience as Category Manager
- Can craft Marketing plans, familiar with reading and interpreting P&L statements
- willing to travel and engage in fieldwork
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Highly organized and result oriented
- Creative and strategic thinker
- Team player
