Job Description

The Service Delivery Program manager is responsible for delivering all services in line with industry best practices, principles and frameworks. The customer will implement a solution that will address its needs for data storage, data management, data applications and the migration of existing data, ETL jobs, reports and dashboards to a data lake. The Service Delivery Lead will lead the data migration project together with the Business Enabling Teams through collaborative planning, execution, and monitoring of the project to ensure on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery by having a thorough understanding of the technical design, process flows, and data flows that ensures adherence to both business and technical requirements and standards. The Delivery Lead should understand the business, data, application, technology, and risk map of the project and ensure the alignment with the strategic goals of the project.

Key Job Functions and Duties:

  • Develop preliminary project, services, high level costs and timeline.
  • Development and maintaining relationships with key technical and commercial stakeholders within the customer organization
  • Provide consultancy to project teams to ensure the project is aligned with the overall architecture.
  • Leads the overall delivery management of the project ensuring that it is delivered on-time, onbudget, and on-scope.
  • Defines and finalize project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with business unit and key stakeholders
  • Creates and manages the detailed timeline for project execution and ensures that resources are always aligned with such.
  • Optimizes utilization of available resources to deliver project activities within the required timeframes and agreed quality and scope
  • Influence and provide thought leadership to sponsors and stakeholders in solving governance, program and project management, business process and/or technical problems
  • Identifies, monitors and manages project risks, issues, dependencies and action plans until project implementation and closure.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues and contingency plans.

  • Monitors and manages project expenses to ensure it is within cost baseline.
  • Identifies and manages project dependencies and monitors the critical path

Minimum Qualifications

General skills:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Strong Business Analysis skills
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate the project objectives, inspire and motivate staff, and maintain alignment with the business strategy.
  • Influencing and negotiation experience and skills in an environment with high competition for resources.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Strong business acumen, especially in banking business. Familiarity with industry trends and innovation related to banking.
  • Business case analysis and cost based analysis skills are highly desirable

Desired Experience & Qualities

  • Broad and Deep technical background with at least TEN years work experience in a senior service delivery role in the Power Distribution Sector
  • Previous experience of delivering Data Warehouse projects in a Cloudera, Informatica or Talend environment.
  • Big Data project experience is highly desirable
  • IT architecture, infrastructure, and cloud deployment expertise is a plus.

Qualifications and Accreditations:

  • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent Certification is preferred
  • Agile and Scrum Master certifications are desirable

Reporting structure:

  • The Service Delivery Lead will report to the Program Manager and will be based in Metro Manila.
