Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain test cases
- Perform different tests on software to ensure that it meets all standards and guidelines including but not limited to:
- Smoke Testing
- Regression Testing
- Sanity testing
- UAT
- Responsible in making sure that the software is ready to be marketed to the consumers
- Record test progress and results for each test done
- Discover, isolate and track bugs
- Prevent bugs by understanding the patterns, developer’s mindset and product’s behavior
- Identify any potential problems that users might encounter
- Research and analyze product features being tested
- Contributes to test planning, designing and estimation
