JOB DESCRIPTION

The Production Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the smooth production work flow of the department. S/he is likewise responsible for training, organization tasks and project development.

  • 1. Production Work:
    • 1.1 Constructs clear and accurate reviews of records that conform to the Client guidelines.
    • 1.2 Edits and verifies record reviews, ensuring that each is clear and sound, and conforms to English grammar standards and to the Client guidelines
    • 1.3 Finishes and submits the record reviews within the specified time frame.
    • 1.4 Provides feedback, comments and suggestions to ROR Trainees, Associates and Specialists regarding submitted files
  • 2. Training Duties:
    • 2.1 Plans and prepares the training program and materials for ROR Trainees, Associates and Specialists
    • 2.2 Implements the training program for ROR Trainees, Associates and Specialists, and recommends the action/s to be taken for each individual
    • 2.3 Guides the ROR Trainees, Associates and Specialists in the performance of actual work production, including performance feedback.
  • 3. Supervisory Functions:
    • 3.1 Job Assignment
      • 3.1.1 Assigns jobs to ROR Associates and Specialists, in coordination with other Production Supervisors, to be able to meet set due dates
      • 3.1.2 Ensures the availability of equipment and manpower resources in order to meet the demands of production. S/he initially requests and authorizes offsets and overtime work of the ROR staff, with the final approval of the Production Manager.
    • 3.2 Intradepartmental Communication
      • 3.2.1 Works with the other Production Supervisors and other members of the Department in setting, developing and updating Client protocols and guidelines, and disseminates such information to the ROR Associates and Specialists
      • 3.2.2 Updates the ROR Associates, Specialists and Staffs regarding Company and Departmental concerns
    • 3.3 Interdepartmental Coordination
      • 3.3.1 Coordinates with other production departments (e.g. TRA, URD, DAT) with regard to production requirements
      • 3.3.2 Coordinates with CSD with regard to client communications, including requests and transmittal of files
      • 3.3.3 Coordinates with ITD with regard to hardware and software requirements
      • 3.3.4 Coordinates with HRD and TRD with regard to development programs, rewards and sanctions
      • 3.3.5 Coordinates with ADM with regard to release of supplies and maintenance of departmental resources
      • 3.3.6 Coordinates with FIN-FIM and FIN-BIL with regard to collation of production information
    • 3.4 External Communication
      • 3.4.1 Investigates and documents comments and errors pointed out by Clients, and reports such to the Assistant Manager / Department Manager.
      • 3.4.2 Communicates with Clients either through electronic mail or phone regarding production concerns, e.g. requests, clarification of discrepancies, comments regarding quality issues.
    • 3.5 Other Supervisory Duties
      • 3.5.1 Participates in planning and developing projects (e.g. troubleshooting protocols) for the Department
      • 3.5.2 Constructs, develops, updates and submits Production-related reports (e.g. status reports, attendance and endorsements, incident logs)
      • 3.5.3 Assists in the analysis of production -related reports, and provides comments, suggestions and feedback with regard to them
      • 3.5.4 Maintains an inventory of Departmental supplies and equipment, and safe keeps the same
  • 4. Quality Assurance Team Member
    • 4.1 Performs functions relating to the Quality Assurance Team’s tasks, e.g. scoping and documenting the Client’s service requirements, guiding ROR Associates and Specialists to prepare record reviews according to the Client Guidelines


5. Performs additional functions, as necessary

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Medical Science, Nursing, Pharmacy/Pharmacology, Physical Therapy/Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Makati.
  • Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Healthcare - Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent.
  • At least a one-year work experience either as a Reviewer, Editor or Evaluator under the department, with proficiency in doing his/her job duties
  • Computer literate in Microsoft applications and other software created and developed for the department
  • 2 Full-Time position(s) available.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedule including GY shift and extended hours
