Responsibilities:

• Development of new projects in PHP-based frameworks/platforms

• Maintenance and support of existing projects

• Work on e-commerce projects in Magento technology

• Unit test and take accountability for the quality of your work

• Troubleshoot, research and analyze issues to solve problems.

• Provide daily technical support for the e-commerce, including troubleshooting and debugging issues.

• Write and modify scripts for systems monitoring, event detection and data integration.

• Assist in server deployment, upgrades and version release management.

• Performs daily and periodic system support tasks to ensure continuous systems operation.

• Collaborates with various teams and vendors on solutions.

• Works with project managers and business analysts on documenting processes related to current and new functionality across systems.

• Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
• Vendor management across multiple vendors (OMS, e-Com, WMS etc)

Qualification

• A bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS or a related field or the equivalent in education and experience
• A minimum of 5 years of experience programming object-oriented PHP
• 3 years of hands-on experience with front-end and back-end development (Full-stack) within Magento
• Magento Enterprise 1.x or 2.x experience a must
• Expert understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy and components.
• A minimum of two years of experience using relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL)
• Required Skills: PHP, Magento, MySQL, Apache, TFS, Web Services, Data Integrations
• Research, develop logic, code, test and deploy Magento/PHP application
• Competent in API integration (restfull API)
• Experience working on e-commerce platform
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Travel to Hong Kong for training may be required as necessary
