As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and supporting production applications, systems and connectivity issues; respond appropriately to requests of production impacting; participate in incident management providing Tier II and Tier III support; observe and respond to network alarm conditions ensuring immediate action; follow established escalation procedures, notifying appropriate internal contacts as warranted; review high level documents and functional requirement documents after product implementation to resolve any problems; develop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of all products and services. MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Respond appropriately to requests of production impacting issues 2. Participate in incident management providing Tier II and Tier III support 3. Observe and respond to network alarm conditions ensuring immediate action 4. Participate in the analysis of trends and common issues with applications 5. Determine source of connectivity issues (e.g., middleware, frontend or backend, etc.) documenting and resolving issues as able 6. Follow established escalation procedures, notifying appropriate internal contacts as warranted 7. Act as a liaison with internal teams (e.g., development, QA, etc.) to resolve production issues, satisfy end user SLA's and that those timelines are met 8. Review high level documents (HLD) and functional requirement documents (FRD) after product implementation to resolve any problems 9. Communicate with other team members and affected groups regarding open tickets ensuring resolution 10. Automate repetitive tasks for more efficient support and customer uptime 11. Develop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of all products and services 12. Coordinate with internal development teams to document and understand usage needs of platforms
